Websites Worth a VisitAccessMaine - A super extensive portal of information for Mainiacs with disabilities AlphaOne - This Maine non-profit agency's stated mission is to promote independent living for people with disabilities. To this end, they can assist with the financing of adaptive technology through low-interest loans (http://www.mpowerloans.org/) and/or federal grant money(Title 7, scroll to bottom of AlphaOne page). Amazon Access - Amazon's main site is a nightmare for disability-access. This alternative site has the same content, but a much simpler interface. CARES Vocational Rehabilitation Handbook - A Consumer’s Guide To Maine’s Vocational Rehabilitation Programs Large Print Bible on the Web - Also Audio Bibles and Devotions (at the bottom of the page) The Learning Toolbox - A great set of learning tips for students with LD/ADHD. (NO/LOW-TECH) Transitioning from High-School to College - This is a pamphlet that I have written, about the challenges facing students with disabilities as they move into the Post-Secondary educational scene, and how to manage those challenges successfully.
